#WellnessWednesday: At Twin Valley Middle School, the 8th Grade Leadership class has been hard at work fostering a sense of connection and community—two key elements of student well-being. As part of their initiative, they created a school-wide paper chain, with students from every grade decorating individual links. These links were then connected, symbolizing the strength and unity of the entire school. This collaborative project helped students develop important wellness skills like teamwork, empathy, and communication. As TVMS Leadership student Amriella Garvey put it, "The chain shows that we are all connected in a positive way."

#FeatureFriday: Mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing... oh my! While the traditional Thanksgiving feast is always a favorite, we’re sure many are craving something green afterward! This has us reminiscing about when our 1st graders at Honey Brook Elementary Center used the Flex Farm to grow and harvest their very own fresh lettuce. A delicious, homegrown treat that reminds us of the importance of healthy eating—just in time for the holiday season!
