This has us reminiscing about when our 1st graders at Honey Brook Elementary Center used the Flex Farm to grow and harvest their very own fresh lettuce. A delicious, homegrown treat that reminds us of the importance of healthy eating—just in time for the holiday season!
Reminder: There will be no school for students from Wednesday, November 27 through Monday, December 2. We wish you a peaceful and rejuvenating holiday with your loved ones!

#FeatureFriday: In October, the Music Educators of Berks County (MEBC) and the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) held auditions for the Senior County Chorus Festival. Our students worked diligently to prepare their audition pieces, and their hard work paid off with outstanding performances.
We are proud to announce that 18 students will represent Twin Valley in the Senior County Chorus this year. #RaiderRecognition: Robeson Elementary Center is proud to recognize their outstanding Reading Team: Julie Schumacher, Reading Specialist; Jenna Holder, Heather Lenko, and Jill Michener. This dedicated team supports our elementary students by providing phonics-based reading instruction, spelling, and reading comprehension skills. They work closely with teachers to identify students' needs and develop targeted interventions. The Twin Valley High School Leo Club partnered with a former local police chief to organize a donation drive in support of hurricane victims in North Carolina. Together, they assembled hygiene kits for men, women, boys, and girls in color-coordinated bags and collected a trailer full of essential supplies, all generously donated by our school community.
A huge thank you to our Leo Club members for their dedication to helping others, and to all the volunteers who played a role in gathering supplies, packing boxes, loading the trailer, and more! #WellnessWednesday #RaiderPride

Tip: Students can help support school bus safety by limiting distractions for their bus drivers. This can be done by staying in seats, keeping heads, arms, and papers inside the bus, and talking quietly, remembering that the driver needs to remain focused on the road.

These 10 students were selected from over 130 TVEC magnet winners who were nominated by staff between September 9th and Octber 4th. Students received nominations for showing their TVEC Pride by being kind to others and exhibiting the characteristics of politeness, effort, respect, discipline, and integrity. Way to go!
As the leaves begin to change and a crisp breeze fills the air, we’re reminded that fall is a season of transition. Fall sports are coming to a close, and with that, many teams across the District—like Twin Valley Middle School’s Soccer Team—are enjoying end-of-season festivities. These gatherings provide the perfect opportunity to reflect on how far they’ve come and remind us that, just like nature, we’re all growing, adapting, and preparing for what’s ahead!

Today's tip: Please arrive at your bus stop at least 5 minutes before your scheduled time.
#FeatureFriday: This weekend, both the TVHS Boys and Girls Cross Country teams are heading to Big Spring High School to compete in the District Championships!
Earlier this week, the Boys Team won the County Championships by a 30-point margin, while the Girls Team secured a strong 4th place finish. We wish both teams the best of luck as they take on this next challenge. Go Raiders!
