Twin Valley School District Partners with Caron’s Education Alliance

Twin Valley School District has partnered with Caron’s Education Alliance to provide student assistance programming, prevention education and behavioral health support for our students, from Kindergarten through High School.

Who is Caron’s Education Alliance?

The Education Alliance team partners with schools to provide behavioral health support to students struggling with various issues. These issues may include:

  • changing family situations

  • problems with friendships

  • substance use

  • and a variety of other challenges youth experience.

The Education Alliance customizes their program and services to align with the culture, infrastructure and needs of the students and families of Twin Valley School District.

Caron’s Education Alliance is part of Caron Treatment Centers, a non-profit organization with nearly 70 years of experience providing life-saving substance use treatment and behavioral healthcare. Services and programs are available for youth, parents, and youth-serving professionals. Caron’s team is prepared to offer support to you and your family.

What is SAP (Student Assistance Program) and how will they support my child?

SAP is a process used to identify students experiencing challenges interfering with their educational success. SAP is a Pennsylvania state-mandated program using a team approach that may consist of school representatives, your family, and Caron’s SAP Specialist.  To learn more about SAP and your role in the process, please contact your school's SAP Coordinator.

About the Twin Valley SAP Team

The Twin Valley High School Student Assistance Program (SAP) Team was honored with the “Celebrated SAP Team Award” by the Caron Foundation in 2024. This award recognizes SAP teams making strides in improving processes, educating their community, and supporting more students.

The Twin Valley team stands out for their collaboration, deep care for students, and commitment to connecting students and families with the help they need.
