Board Meetings (In Person/Livestream)

The Board and the Administrative Team would like to inform the Twin Valley School District community that we will be returning to in person Board Meetings starting Monday August 16, 2021.  In person Board Meetings are open to the public.  As a convenience to the community, and in light of the global pandemic, we will continue to livestream Board Meetings with a pop-up link on the District website, www.tvsd.org, that will be visible 15 minutes prior to the start of the meeting.  As well, the current and previous Board Meeting minutes and agendas are found under “School Board” and then “Agendas and Minutes” on the District website.

Procedures for Public Comment at Board Meeting

If you wish to make a public comment, you will need to attend the Board Meeting in person to do so and must state your name, address, and municipality when it is your turn to speak during the public comment section of the agenda. Remarks are to be limited to three minutes, and we ask that you understand that public comment is not a question and answer period directed to the Board, but a time for the public to submit comments to the Board.

Note…At the start of the pandemic, the District adopted Policy 006.1, which provided for the conducting of Board Meetings under “emergency conditions” and made a commitment to public participation at those meetings.  Since the Board Meetings will be open to the public, Board Policy 006.1 governs the conduct of meetings and requires a member of the public to be present at meetings to make a statement to the Board.
