New admission

High School (grades 9-12) - incoming high school students should register with the high school guidance dept. - 610-286-8600 x8617

Middle School (grades 5-8) - incoming middle school students should register with the middle school guidance dept. - 610-286-8600 x8634.

Children currently enrolled in grades K-4 should register with the main office of the elementary school in their attendance area. If you are in doubt about your building assignment, call any one of the elementary buildings. *Students enrolling in Kindergarten and 1st grade must also provide proof of age.

Registration for 23-24SYKindergarten Registration for 23-24SY will open on March 6th, 2023. The window will remain open until April 14th, 2023. There will be additional communication from your buildings coming soon.

Any child who will be 5 years old by September 1, 2023 (no exceptions) is eligible to enter kindergarten for the 2023/2024 school year.

If you are new to the district and planning on attending TVSD for the 23-24SY, you can register after March 6th 2023. Please make sure you select the 23-24SY.

Important Change in Pennsylvania’s Definition of “Compulsory School Age”

Effective in 2020-2021, all children from the age of six (6) through the age of 18 must comply with compulsory school attendance requirements. To meet these requirements, parents must ensure that their child between the ages of 6 and 18 is attending or participating in one of the following: a public elementary, middle, or high school; a public charter or cyber-charter school; a private licensed academic or private religious school; home tutoring by a certified teacher; or an approved program of home schooling. Children may be excused from compulsory attendance for documented medical or other compelling reasons as outlined in District attendance policy and procedures.

Immunization Requirements

Under Pennsylvania State Law, no student may attend school until the school has the student's immunization certificate for all required immunizations. Please see the Health Suite, Immunizations page for complete list.

Student Conduct

Twin Valley School District expects students to be responsible citizens. The district develops student handbooks which outline student responsibilities and general behavior guidelines. Guidelines for student conduct are firm, but fair. Administrators and teachers work closely with parents and students to encourage exemplary behavior.

Pupil Records

Pupil records are maintained at the students' school and contain grades received, academic work completed, and attendance information. When students transfer into our school district, the previous school transfers records to our school. Students are required to disclose certain information regarding discipline. Parents have the right to review their child's records and may do so by contacting the school principal.
