Parent Responsibility

Policing bus stops and the supervision between residence and stops until the children board the bus will be the parent's responsibility.  

Parents and/or guardians are responsible for the child and their safety prior to boarding the bus in the morning and at the time the child is discharged from the bus in the afternoon.

Acceptable behavior on the bus is expected from all pupils, or transportation privileges may be revoked. If this should occur, it then becomes the responsibility of the parents and/or guardians to transport the child to and from school until such time that transportation privileges are returned.

Transportation in inclement weather can lead to serious complications. Parents are responsible for obtaining the latest information on school closings, etc. as directed by the school.

Transportation problems or requested changes are not to be discussed with a bus driver. Resolution of transportation problems are made only through the District's Transportation Office.
