Board President, Gary McEwen June 15th Board Meeting Statement on Diversity
The Twin Valley School Board believes it is necessary to speak out against some comments made by board members from some nearby school districts.  There is no place for someone with racial biases in the Twin Valley School community.  The Twin Valley School board is committed to making every effort to ensure that any form of hatred or racism does not take place in the organization. The Twin Valley School District is an ethics-driven, cohesive, and safe organization.

The Twin Valley School District values diversity.  Each and every one of our employees, students and community members are special and unique.  The differences and the contributions from students and staff of varying genders, religions, races, ages, ethnicities, sexual orientations, educations and every other attribute is what makes us proud.  We believe diversity builds a strong community and strive to maintain an environment where all students and staff feel valued.  There is no place for diversity biases in our District.  During these adverse times our school buildings need to remain united and serve as an area of stability for our students. We strive to educate our youth in an atmosphere were diversity is valued and the school setting is welcoming to all.  If any parent or student ever feels differently please contact the administration immediately.  Together we will continue to remain strong!
