Campus Parent - Absence Request

We are pleased to share that the Twin Valley School District has implemented a new way to submit absent requests.

What is this new tool?
The tool we have implemented to handle this process is called Absence Request. Beginning in the 2022-2023 school year, parents/guardians can use the Absence Request tool to submit a request that informs the office in advance of when their student is not going to be in school. After the request is processed, Infinite Campus creates an attendance record for the student.

Do I need to submit an excuse form?

If you submit an electronic request through the Absence Request tool, you do not need to submit an excuse form. However, handwritten excuse forms will still be accepted if you choose not to submit absences electronically.
