Twin Valley Technology Department

The Twin Valley Technology department is currently engaged in several new initiatives in order to continue to provide the students and staff with the technology opportunities for their success. Our mission is to create and support a technological environment where teachers can teach and students can learn. This requires that we be innovative and secure, yet open to new ideas and advancing technologies which help not hinder that mission.

Twin Valley Thin Client Project using Microsoft Multipoint Server 2011
The Twin Valley School District has some exciting technology programs underway! We are extremely excited about our Microsoft Multipoint Server program. What this will do for us is put more new technology into the hands of the students while lowering the overall cost to the district. Instead of buying 5 - 8 individual workstations in every classroom, we purchase one main unit and attach multiple monitors, Keyboards, and mice (Up to 10 per box). This lowers the overall total cost, and lowers our electricity usage per classroom and our overall carbon footprint! Meanwhile, each student using the system will have access to windows 7, Office 2010, and extremely enhanced speeds to get their work done.
