School district tax bills are mailed each year on or about July 1st. Interim bills are mailed throughout the year when a change in assessment occurs. - If a receipt is required, please enclose both copies of the bill along with a self-addressed stamped envelope. Payments must be postmarked by the due date.
- Payments in person are accepted at any branch of National Penn Bank until July 15 and after July 15, 2016 at any BB&T Pennsylvania branch. Bring both copies of the bill when paying in person.

Section 6-672.1 of the School Code requires that school districts which lie in more than one county must use a method to equalize taxes among all of its property owners. The taxes are levied in proportion to the ratio of the most recent market valuation by the State Tax Equalization Board.
Information for Senior Citizens
Senior citizens may qualify for assistance in paying their real estate taxes. These residents should contact either the Office of Aging for their county or the PA Department of Revenue at 1-888-PATAXES or at www.revenue.state.pa.us
Beginning July 1, 2014, the Twin Valley School District will offer the Senior School Service Tax Rebate Program. This program is designed to assist senior citizens with the burden of real estate taxes. Homeowners residing in their primary residence, and are age 60 and older, will have the opportunity to volunteer up to 74.5 hours per school year (July 1 to June 30) at a tax credit equivalent of $8.00 per hour, not to exceed a maximum of $599.00. Eligible participants are required to obtain Act 34, Act 151 and Act 114 clearances. Since the cost of this program will be limited to the amount established by the Board, this program will be on a first come/first service basis. Applications and additional information may be obtained from the district Business Office.

Earned Income Tax Collection
Keystone Collections Group serves as the Earned Income Tax (EIT) collector for school and municipal taxing authorities within the Twin Valley School District. Act 32 of 2008 requires municipal governments and school districts in all Pennsylvania counties, except Philadelphia, to select a single tax collector to serve the Earned Income Tax collection needs of the political subdivisions.
