Taxpayer Information

Welcome to the Twin Valley School District Tax Office. The tax office is the primary contact for questions concerning school real estate taxes in all municipalities of the Twin Valley School District. For questions, please call 610-286-8632.

School district tax bills are mailed each year on or about July 1st. Interim bills are mailed throughout the year when a change in assessment occurs. Taxes can be paid by the following methods:

By mail:

For a receipt, please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope along with both copies of the bill.

In person:
At any branch of the National Penn Bank. Please bring the entire bill when paying in person.
Only payment in full is accepted.

Senior citizens may qualify for assistance in paying their real estate taxes. These residents should contact either the Office of Aging for their county or the PA Department of Revenue at 1-888-PATAXES.

Chester County 21.1
 
Section 6-672.1 of the School Code requires that school districts which lie in more than one county must use a method to equalize taxes among all of its property owners. The taxes are levied in each county in proportion to the ratio of the most recent market valuation by the State Tax Equalization Board.
 
Twin Valley School District municipalities include:
 
Berks County: Caernarvon Township, Robeson Township, New Morgan Borough.
Chester County: Elverson Borough, Honey Brook Borough, Honey Brook Township, West Nantmeal Township.

A $10 fee per parcel is required for a written tax certification. Please send the appropriate fee (check made payable to Twin Valley School District) along with your request to:

Current owner's name
Property address
Parcel/PIN number
 
Information will be provided for the current tax year and one prior.
