The Twin Valley School District has provided this link so that parents, community members and citizens may review our instructional program.

The Scope and Sequence for each subject area is predicated upon the Pennsylvania State Standards in each content area. They are aligned K-12 and are also congruent with the Pennsylvania State System of Assessment (PSSA).

Teachers and administrators work through committees to develop the Scope and Sequence. It is reviewed by the Board of School Directors before approval. Parental input is welcomed at every level.

Once approval has been given, the various committees continue to monitor the delivery of the content, refining and clarifying different units of study. The committees, along with various classroom teachers, create and develop specific units of study which enhance student learning.

The Twin Valley School District welcomes questions and opportunities to dialogue with parents and community members. Our goal is to provide a rigorous curriculum which supports a high-quality educational experience for each child.
